Job summary

L3Harris is seeking an Intern, Electrical Engineering to contribute to design and development of electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft. You will create wiring diagrams and panels using CAD, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and production to ensure cost-effective designs.

The role includes exposure to avionics, RF, LAN, data processing and power distribution, with a focus on hands-on learning and integration across multiple aircraft platforms.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree at an accredited university.
• Pursuing degree with emphasis on electrical systems, avionics or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, control panels and other items using CAD.
• Research and prepare engineering drawings, coordinating with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing and Production to meet requirements at minimum cost.
• Support testing and integration of systems on aircraft, including Avionics, RF, LAN, data processing and power distribution.
