Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Northampton, MA is seeking an Intern, Electrical Engineer. You will learn to design, develop, integrate, test, and sustain electronics for maritime applications at the Northampton site, taking designs from concept to released hardware with hands-on CCA work onsite.

Gain exposure to mixed-signal CCAs, circuit analysis, PCB layouts, EMI, and cross-functional collaboration with systems, mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams during this structured 9/80

Qualifications

• Eligible student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field at an accredited university.
• Experience with analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design is preferred.
• Familiarity with schematic capture, PCB layout, or circuit-simulation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, testing, and documentation of mixed-signal CCAs.
• Review requirements, perform basic circuit analysis, select components, and develop verification approaches.
• Assist with hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, test, and evaluation of prototypes.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
