Job summary

Stratus is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support engineers and designers on power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for building and infrastructure projects in Richmond, VA. You will gain hands-on exposure to electrical design principles and industry standards, with mentorship from experienced professionals.

You will learn how engineering drawings, calculations, and project deliverables are developed and coordinated, and you will contribute to active assignments while gaining

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Completion of relevant engineering or technical coursework.
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles.
• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical drawings, calculations, reports, research, and other project documentation.
• Support the design and coordination of power, lighting, communication, and low-voltage systems.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, field observations, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
