Job summary

Thinklance LLP seeks an Electrical Engineering intern in the United States who will support engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills, learn basic principles of Electrical Engineering, and assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.

You will also help prepare final design plans and cost estimates, collect project documentation, complete training, and adhere to safety and conduct policies.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited Electrical Engineering or related undergraduate program.
• 18 years or older.
• Interest in Electrical Engineering with desire to advance skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with diverse audiences.
• Ability to take direction from leadership, mentors, and managers.
• Basic proficiency in technical writing, office software, spreadsheets and tools.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to policies.
• Authorized to work in the United States at internship start.
• Preferred: prior internship and campus leadership involvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Electrical Engineering.
• Support project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Assist with preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, adhering to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
