Job summary

General Matter in the United States is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to help build the electrical systems at the heart of our next‑generation enrichment technology. You will gain hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, power electronics, controls, and safety-critical firmware on real hardware designed for demanding environments.

Qualifications

Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems architecture, circuit design, PCBA layout, or harness design.
Familiar with ECAD tools such as Altium or Cadence.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components for General Matter's enrichment technology.
Conduct trades, requirements capture, component selection, schematic capture, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, documentation and production testing for electrical designs.
Create development and qualification testing campaigns to exercise designs to their limits.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure fielded systems are reliable, manufacturable, and efficient.
