Core States Group is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for a Summer 2027 program in Bentonville, AR. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on electrical design, load calculations, BIM coordination, and site visits to observe construction progress.

The internship emphasizes hands-on learning with Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, and BIM tools, within a values-driven, team-based environment. This 11-week program offers exposure to diverse project types and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as a junior pursuing a B.E. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Interest in building systems and electrical infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaborative teamwork.
• Eager to learn in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary AEC environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with power distribution and lighting design.
• Support electrical load calculations and panel schedules.
• Participate in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Attend site visits and observe construction progress.
• Review drawings and construction documentation.
• Learn about low-voltage systems, lighting controls, and energy-efficient design.
• Support project teams throughout various phases of design and construction.
