Job summary

Textron, through Howe & Howe, offers a 10-week intern position in Waterboro, ME focused on electrical engineering. You will create electrical schematics and harness drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, perform calculations, and support the prototype build. You must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and have eligibility to work in the U.S.

No sponsorship needed. This role includes mentorship, hands‑on projects, and exposure to military standards and automotive design

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• U.S. work authorization not required sponsorship (no visa needed).
• Experience with CAD tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical schematics and harness drawings in CAD systems such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Perform engineering calculations, write specifications, and develop sketches and test criteria.
• Provide technical support for data package delivery to internal/external customers.
• Support prototype build, troubleshooting and documentation as required.
• Understand customer requirements and provide design solutions.
• Incorporate military standards and specifications into system design.
• Interest in automotive design related field.
