Job summary

Textron's Howe & Howe division in Waterboro, ME offers a paid 10-week engineering internship. You will work on real projects, contributing to electrical design, prototype support, and technical documentation alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities include creating schematics in CAD, performing calculations and tests, and delivering technical data packages. Mentorship, training, and potential full-time opportunities are part of the program.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field of study.
• You will not now, or in the future, require sponsorship to legally work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Creating electrical schematics and harnessing design in CAD systems such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Performing engineering calculations, writing specifications, sketches, testing criteria, and cost estimates.
• Providing technical support to internal and external customers for technical data package delivery.
• Supporting prototype build, troubleshooting and documentation as required.
• Understanding customer requirements and providing design solutions.
• Familiarity with military standards and specifications and incorporating them into system design.
