Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern to support the design department and gain practical experience through tasks such as research, drafting, and project documentation.

Immigration sponsorship or support is not available, except TN visa eligibility. You'll work under supervision with architects and engineers, participate in site visits, prepare drawings, and contribute to presentations and marketing materials.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student pursuing an ABET-accredited undergraduate degree in Architectural or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to prepare clear, organized written materials.
• Detail-oriented with strong teamwork and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic design tasks, research, simple studies and layout support.
• Help prepare drawings/documents for programming, schematic design, modeling and construction phases.
• Support creation of presentation and marketing materials.
• Assist with site visits, RFIs, shop drawings, and updating record drawings.
• Follow quality control procedures and learn department standards.
• Develop basic design/analysis skills through hands-on experience.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Receive guidance from supervisors and collaborate with architects and engineers.
