Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, invites motivated students to join as Electrical Engineering Interns in a collaborative design team. You will support senior engineers with research, drafting, modeling, and documentation to gain practical experience while contributing to live projects.

You will participate in site visits, RFI responses, and the preparation of construction documents, while following established standards and quality procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing ABET-accredited undergrad in Architectural or Electrical Engineering.
• Interest in buildings and facilities projects.
• Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic design tasks, research, simple studies, and layout support.
• Help prepare drawings and documents for programming, schematic design, modeling, and construction phases.
• Support creation of presentation and marketing materials.
• Assist with construction phase activities, including site visits and RFI responses.
• Follow quality control procedures and ask questions as needed.
• Learn department and company standards and best practices.
• Develop basic design, analysis, and technical skills through hands-on experience.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
