Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering students to join our St. Louis Park office for an on-site internship. You will use technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients while collaborating with project managers across disciplines.

We expect enrolled students pursuing ABET-accredited EE degrees and readiness to work on HVAC design within our MEP team. This role is not remote and offers hourly compensation of $30–$31.

Qualifications

• Pursuing ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's).

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for the built environment.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and with Kimley-Horn’s practices and standards.
• Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting project managers as required.
• Support the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team on large scale HVAC design.
• Projects may include Airports, Facilities, Universities, and more.

• In the process of receiving an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters)

Rate: $30-$31 hourly
