Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking Electrical Engineering students to join our on-site office. This role provides hands-on experience analyzing, designing, and delivering engineering deliverables for real-world projects in a collaborative environment.

You will work with cross-disciplinary teams, learn regulatory standards, and contribute to HVAC, facilities, and campus projects. Applicants should be pursuing an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's)

Qualifications

• Pursuing ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters).

Responsibilities

• Use technical software to analyze, produce, and QC client deliverables.
• Solve problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Learn federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.
• Perform general mechanical engineering tasks to support projects.
• Assist MEP team on large-scale HVAC design.
• Work on projects across Airports, Facilities, and Universities.

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Electrical Engineering students to join our Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO) office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting various project managers as required.
• Support our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team specifically working on large scale HVAC design.
• Project type will vary but may include Airports, Facilities, Universities, and more.

Qualifications

• In the process of receiving an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters)

Hourly Pay Range: $32-$33
