Job summary

Danfoss Drives is offering an Electrical Engineering Intern position in Loves Park, IL. You will contribute to active power electronics product development and gain hands-on experience by working on real projects that impact ongoing activities.

During this internship you will document design processes, collaborate with engineers, present your work, and participate in department meetings. The role requires strong communication and time-management skills and a safety-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• Coursework in Power Engineering or Power Electronics is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage your time effectively and work independently on tasks up to 40 hours per week.
• Situational awareness for personal safety in a laboratory setting, with the ability to follow safety rules and protocols.
• Proficiency in using computer tools for simulation, analysis, and modeling.
