Ruveon in Louisiana is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op to join a focused, fast-moving team in a chemical plant environment. You will assist with electrical and control system tasks and contribute to reliability improvements.

The role is for 6 months, with Spring 2027 or Fall 2027 start windows, requiring enrollment in an EE degree and willingness to commute. Compensation is hourly, with benefits including health care, PTO and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering.
• Sophomore year or higher completed.
• Willingness to work in a chemical plant environment.
• Available for a 6-month Co-op: Spring 2027 or Fall 2027.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues and suggest reliability improvements.
• Support design, installation, and start-up of automatic process control systems.
• Assist engineers in developing project objectives and specifications for customer approval.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA and plant safety standards on all projects.
• Collaborate with production and technical staff to drive project goals.
• Assist with procurement activities and cost/feasibility studies.
