Job summary

Chemours in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer Co-op to join our Manufacturing Technology team. You will work closely with experienced engineers on hands-on projects in a chemical plant and gain real-time engineering experience while applying classroom knowledge.

Enrollment as a junior or above, pursuing an electrical engineering degree, and familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. The program offers six months minimum, with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Junior or above at time of assignment.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or similar fields.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Working with experienced engineering professionals on improvement and expansion projects.
• Assisting operations and maintenance with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
• Participating in process safety management activities and reviews.
• Contributing to team meetings and conference calls.
• Further Development of Process Technology.
