Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) invites talented electrical engineering students to join our co-op/intern program across PCA mills. This role offers exposure to electrical reliability, project engineering, and process control through hands-on assignments and mentorship.

You will support reliability tasks, assist with project design and startup activities, and use AutoCAD, P&ID, and control documentation.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0/4.0 minimum and must be a permanent U.S. resident with a valid driver's license.
• Must be majoring in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field and have completed freshman year.
• Preferred: active paper foundation membership at listed universities and eligible for interviews at PCA mills.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical reliability assignments to improve mill safety, equipment performance, and efficiency.
• Work with reliability engineers, maintenance, operations, and mill personnel to troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with project management, documentation, and startup activities for electrical projects.
