Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op for Spring 2027 in Louisville, KY. This mentoring program assigns you a leader to guide goals, deliverables, and expectations throughout your rotation.

You will gain hands-on experience across refrigeration, washer, and cooking product areas, including PCB and hardware design, with housing and relocation assistance available for eligible students.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• December 2027 or later graduation date
• Cumulative GPA >= 3.0 (out of 4.0)
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor visas now or in the future for this position

Responsibilities

• Work with your assignment leader to accomplish objectives and goals that support the business and provide learning opportunities
• Complete innovative technical assignments in product areas including refrigeration, washer systems and cooking products; PCB design, hardware design, debugging
• Work on new innovations and equipment
• Participate in development and training to enhance technical and professional skills including communication and resume writing
• Optional events and committee participation for networking with leaders and community service
