Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Spectacles team in Los Angeles. You will own schematic design, component selection and stackup for boards from concept to final deliverable, and work on SOCs, PMICs, wireless ICs and sensors for low-power consumer electronics.

You will simulate power networks, lead reviews, supervise layouts, and debug hardware with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 20% is required in this role.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Electrical Eng or related field; 7+ years hardware experience.
• Experience with schematic capture, layout tools and battery-procurement.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%

Responsibilities

• Own schematic design, component selection and stackup definition from concept to final deliverable.
• Design in complex SOCs, PMICs, wireless ICs and sensors for low-power consumer electronics.
• Simulate power distribution networks, lead design reviews, and supervise PCB layouts.
• Debug hardware with cross-functional teams and validate board/system performance.
• Travel internationally up to 20% and collaborate with contract manufacturers
