Job summary

Kimley-Horn’s Lakeland, Florida office seeks an Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Water/Wastewater and Utilities team on-site.

Responsibilities include design of municipal water/wastewater systems, pump stations, and treatment facilities, plus project coordination, budgeting, and client communications. PE licensure or progress toward it is expected within 12 months.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical engineering design experience.
• Experience with water/wastewater or municipal utilities.
• Design of electrical/instrumentation & controls for pump stations and treatment plants.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist design of water transmission and distribution systems.
• Contribute to pumping stations, water treatment facilities, and master planning.
• Coordinate work with multidisciplinary team and manage project tasks.
