Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking an electrical engineer to develop compute hardware for next-generation electric and autonomous vehicles within the Vehicle OS product. This role offers challenges from concept to production and aims to accelerate Software Defined Vehicles.

You will design schematics and boards, collaborate with system, firmware, software, and integration teams, run test plans, and stay abreast of new technologies to keep our solutions cutting-edge.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Hands-on hardware design experience with analog/power and digital interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, I2C, SPI, UART).
• Proficiency in schematic capture and layout.
• Experience using bench tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, network analyzers).
• Strong collaboration, technical writing, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exposure to AI tools and automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics and boards from concept to production.
• Create diagrams and guide PCB layout to meet DFx constraints.
• Collaborate with system, firmware, software, and integration teams for bring-up.
• Develop and execute test plans; document results and performance.
• Stay current with new technologies to keep solutions cutting-edge.
