Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and build next-generation compute, sensor, and interface hardware for autonomous and AI-driven vehicles.

You will work across the hardware lifecycle from schematic design to production support, collaborating with software, firmware, and mechanical teams. This in-office role requires fundamentals in circuit design, PCB layout, and lab debugging with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Qualifications

• BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related degree.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit design and PCB layout.
• Experience with lab equipment for hardware debug and validation.
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets.

Responsibilities

• Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for compute, sensor, and interface hardware.
• Support hardware bring-up and debug at board and component levels.
• Develop test plans to validate hardware functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with firmware and software teams to integrate hardware.
• Work with vendors and contract manufacturers to support prototyping, DFM/DFT reviews, and production ramp.
• Contribute to hardware documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test reports.
