ASC, Australia's submarine company, seeks an Electrical Engineer for a long-term US deployment in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. This civilian role offers world-class training and the opportunity to work with US Navy processes on Virginia Class submarines, with repatriation to WA after deployment.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship is required.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role; defence industry experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and technical direction for shipboard electrical systems.
• Conduct analysis, investigations, and problem-solving for maintenance and modernization.
• Develop and review drawings, reports, specifications, and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation, testing and operation.
• Support risk assessments and guidance to production and maintenance teams.
• Estimate labour, materials and resources for tasks and projects.
• Ensure compliance with standards, specifications and regulatory requirements.
