Actalent is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and test electrical components for autonomous maritime products. The role focuses on developing capabilities for defense, marine research, and commercial applications.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
• Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of electrical system requirements into optimized methods for assembly, testing, and maintenance.
• Support the development of automated test fixtures.
• Perform quality inspection and control using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and visual inspection.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary product development teams.
• Participate in architecting platform electrical and power systems.
• Design, simulate, prototype, test, and maintain production‑mature circuit card assemblies.
• Perform other electrical engineering duties as assigned.
