Droyd in San Francisco, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to focus on system-level electrical design. You will build the electrical backbone of robots, including power conversion and mobile operation systems.
This role requires strong experience in electrical engineering and integration on real hardware, with a focus on motors and power systems. The compensation ranges from $150K to $210K plus equity, reflecting your essential contributions to our innovative robotics.
Droyd builds autonomous robotic systems that automate repetitive manual work in real environments. We design and manufacture our hardware in-house, which means iteration, fabrication, and execution all happen under one roof.
To operate reliably in the real world, our robots need strong electrical systems for power delivery, conversion, and subsystem integration. Our hardware team works across motors, mobile systems, batteries, and supporting power electronics — work that sits at the core of making the robot dependable and scalable.
As an Electrical Engineer at Droyd, you will focus on system-level electrical design across motors, power, and platform integration. You will help build the electrical backbone of the robot, including power conversion and the systems that support motion and mobile operation.
This role is ideal for someone comfortable working across practical electrical architecture, hardware integration, and power-related engineering challenges.
This role is based on-site in San Francisco, CA.
