Job summary

Exponent in Natick, MA is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Scientist/Computer Scientist to join the Electrical Engineering Practice. You will work on software, data, and engineering solutions for a range of client challenges, applying physics, electrical engineering, and computer science principles.

This role involves designing tests, performing numerical analyses, and presenting results to diverse stakeholders, with opportunities to grow professionally and participate in business development.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• Experience with finite element analysis, numerical analysis, modeling, and/or simulation of devices, systems, and/or networks.
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, C/C++, Java, MATLAB, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Performing engineering and computer science analyses related to ongoing Exponent work.
• Using deep expertise in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field to develop solutions to a wide array of challenging technical problems.
• Designing and performing tests and numerical analysis to support engineering goals.
• Performing reliability and failure analysis related to electrical/electronic systems and components as well as computer systems and networks.
• Presenting technical results to diverse audiences through verbal, written, and interactive communication.
• Preparing technical proposals and pursuing business development.
