Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our electrical engineering team. The role focuses on estimation, design, development and implementation of electrical systems for compressor stations, with emphasis on timely delivery and safety compliance.

You will produce estimates and material lists, review and redline layouts and diagrams using Bluebeam, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and project managers to meet project deadlines and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical design or engineering experience.
• Knowledge of power and controls.
• Familiar with NEC and IEC codes.
• Experience using Bluebeam or similar software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in energy, utilities, oil/gas or power sectors.

Responsibilities

• Estimate, design, develop and implement electrical systems and components for compressor stations.
• Produce estimates and material lists.
• Review and redline layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams and single-line drawings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and project managers to meet deadlines and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, codes and safety requirements.
