Solar Mason in Scranton, PA is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer to join our EPC team. You will work on solar PV projects from design through installation to operations support.

You will design, analyze, and optimize grid-tied and off-grid systems, perform load calculations, develop schematics, and coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure safe, compliant, and timely project delivery. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing/installing solar PV systems.
• Proficient with PVsyst or similar PV analysis software.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize solar energy systems, grid-tied and off-grid.
• Perform electrical load calculations and specify system components.
• Create detailed schematics and coordinate sourcing with procurement.
• Collaborate with construction team to install and commission systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide operational support.
• Coordinate with utilities, authorities, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Deliver technical presentations and reports as needed.
