Job Overview

Location: Franklin, PA

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering projects to develop, maintain, and support components, products, and/or services according to market demands and for process improvements.
  • Conduct engineering evaluations, investigations, fundamental calculations, and tests with well-defined requirements.
  • Provide conceptual and strategic solutions for engineering problems.
  • Take responsibility for personal learning and development.
  • Lead support teams for components, products, or services and process improvements.
  • Communicate engineering issues effectively, ensuring compliance with global standards.
  • Support process improvements in engineering design, development, and maintenance.
  • Participate in Change Management initiatives to support organizational goals.
Predominant Tasks
  • Supervise small project teams.
  • Perform engineering evaluations and consult on problem resolution.
  • Visit mines to observe machinery, review parameters, and recommend actions.
  • Review and resolve deviation requests for drawings.
  • Support customer orders with engineering resources.
  • Approve engineering records for manufacturing.
  • Assist in quality audits and review technical publications.
  • Participate in regulatory meetings and develop retrofit specifications for safety and reliability.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or relevant field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in engineering design, machine application, or mining industry preferred.
  • Proficient in CAD tools.
  • Experience with Lean Engineering and Change Management is desirable.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Project management certifications or memberships are a plus.
