Key Job Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and support components, products, and services through engineering projects, focusing on market demands and process improvements.
2. Conduct engineering evaluations including investigations, calculations, and tests with well-defined requirements and outcomes.
3. Provide conceptual and strategic solutions to engineering problems.
4. Engage in continuous learning and development for personal and organizational growth.
5. Lead support teams for components, products, and services, and contribute to engineering process improvements.
6. Support communication programs to ensure compliance with global design and safety standards, as well as engineering best practices.
7. Assist in streamlining engineering processes for designing, developing, and maintaining products and services.
8. Participate in Change Management initiatives to achieve organizational goals.

Additional responsibilities include supervising small groups, performing evaluations, conducting field visits, reviewing engineering and customer orders, approving technical documents, participating in regulatory meetings, and developing retrofit specifications for safety and reliability improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ experience in engineering design, machine application, or mining industry preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD tools is desired.
• Experience with Lean Engineering principles and effective Change Management is desirable.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams is required.
• Certifications or project management experience are highly valued.
• Professional registration or memberships in technical societies are beneficial.
