Job summary

MSA, The Safety Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to sustain and advance our Fixed Gas and Flame Detection products in Cranberry Township, PA. You will design, analyze, test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies integrated into safety products.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement embedded systems, digital/analog circuits and power interfaces, ensuring products meet performance specifications.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Sustain efforts in Fixed Gas and Flame Detection product line.
• Design, analyze, test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies in safety products.
• Integrate electronics with software, mechanical, test and manufacturing to meet specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development.
• Determine design requirements with customers and internal teams.
• Design embedded systems, digital/analog circuitry, power supplies and interfaces.
• Plan investigations, resolve obsolescence issues and assess non-conforming components.
• Provide technical reports to support investigations and judgments.
• Develop and execute test plans to evaluate products/components.
• Participate in design reviews for new products.
