Lance Camper Manufacturing Corporation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, troubleshoot, and improve electrical systems for RVs on the production floor. You will develop schematics, BOMs, and layouts, collaborating with Production, Quality, and Purchasing to deliver cost-effective solutions and reliable performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing electrical design, SolidWorks proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Formación

• Minimum five years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, including creating and modifying 3D models and drawings.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical systems, circuit design, and troubleshooting.
• Experience creating and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with electrical design software and CAD tools.
• Experience working directly with manufacturing and production teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and improve 12V DC and 120V AC electrical systems for recreational vehicles.
• Create wiring diagrams, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
• Use SolidWorks to design drawings, layouts, and electrical system components.
• Design and integrate batteries, inverters, solar systems, chargers, lighting, and controls.
• Collaborate with Production to resolve electrical issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems during product development, production, and warranty investigations.
• Evaluate components and systems for performance, reliability, safety, and cost.
• Support electrical testing, validation, and safety/regulatory compliance.
