Proboat in Venice, Florida is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our high-end Class-C motorhome manufacturing team. This role blends hands-on installation with electrical system design, development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

You will evaluate existing electrical systems, propose improvements, develop practical solutions, and help implement them to advance our electrical platforms. Strong problem-solving and independent work are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with 12-volt automotive/RV electrical systems.
• Experience working with 110/120-volt AC electrical systems.
• Experience with lithium battery systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to system design improvements.
• Experience designing electrical systems for RVs, marine applications, specialty vehicles, or similar industries.
• Ability to create and revise electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with inverters, converters, battery management systems, solar charging systems, and multiplex wiring systems.
• CAD or electrical drafting experience.

About the Position: We are a high-end Class-C motorhome manufacturer located in Venice, Florida, and are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team.

Position Overview

We are looking for an individual who can become a key contributor within our Electrical Department. This position involves both hands-on installation work and electrical system design, development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience to evaluate our existing electrical systems, recommend improvements, develop solutions to achieve new design goals, and assist in implementing those solutions.

What We're Looking For

More than anything, we’re looking for someone who can be the technical brain behind our electrical systems. We need an individual who can think critically, solve problems, improve existing designs, and help guide the future development of our electrical platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience with 12-volt automotive/RV electrical systems
• Experience working with 110/120-volt AC electrical systems
• Experience with lithium battery systems (Epoch Lithium experience is a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and contribute to system design improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical systems for RVs, marine applications, specialty vehicles, or similar industries
• Ability to create and revise electrical schematics and blueprints
• Experience with inverters, converters, battery management systems (BMS), solar charging systems, and multiplex wiring systems
• CAD or electrical drafting experience
