Zusammenfassung

Verustruct seeks an Electrical Engineer, Level I, to design, build, and program the electronics at the core of its robotic construction platform. You will contribute across schematic capture, PCB layout, harness design, firmware, and integration with motors and sensors on the path to field deployment.

You will own defined boards and firmware features and grow toward full subsystem ownership in a fast-moving startup environment at our Torrance headquarters.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics, or a closely related field (completed in 2026 or prior).
• Strong fundamentals in circuit analysis, analog/digital electronics, power electronics, and basic control systems.
• Experience designing circuit boards in professional, academic, internship, or project settings using KiCad or Altium.
• Embedded C/C++ on microcontrollers with datasheet-driven peripheral configuration.
• Hands-on hardware build, test, and troubleshooting with standard bench instruments.
• Familiarity with motor drivers, power regulation, sensors, and CAN/UART/SPI/I2C interfaces.

Aufgaben

• Design motor-driver, sensor-interface, and power-distribution boards from schematic through PCB layout and assembly.
• Write and debug embedded firmware on STM32-class microcontrollers for motor control and CAN FD communication.
• Develop wiring harnesses and enclosures; document with diagrams and drawings.
• Bring up prototype boards/firmware with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers.
• Integrate electronics into the robotic platform and support commissioning.
• Create test fixtures, collect data, investigate failures, and drive design iterations.
• Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and software teams and maintain engineering documentation.
