Job summary

Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Product Engineering team in Menasha, WI. You will design and specify electrical and electro-mechanical parts used in renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center products, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include CAD design, BOM creation, and ensuring manufacturability, with travel 10-25% and an onsite work environment focused on quality and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Internship or 6 months of work experience.
• Working knowledge in 2D/3D CAD design software (Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo).
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and PLC controllers.
• Experience in Bill of Materials creation and Change Notices.

Responsibilities

• Reviews technical drawings and electrical specifications to ensure proper application of products within electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Supports the design of electrical components and sub-systems for power/low voltage products including component selection, wire harness creation, assembly design and installation.
• Performs detailed design calculations to ensure design compliance with project requirements.
• Studies and understands related government and industry standards that govern the products being developed.
• Produce relevant documentation needed to meet project goals, electrical schematics, electrical component prints, electrical assemblies, and compliance documents.
• Interacts with the Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering staff on a regular basis.
• Participate and present technical information during design meetings or reviews.
• Supports the creation of 2D prints and 3D models for piece parts components.
• Supports the creation of complex 3D layouts of top-level and sub-level assemblies.
• Help develop product Bill of Materials structures to allow for modularity and configurability of products.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and prepare Change Notices to release components and assemblies.
• Support costing activities to ensure pricing targets are achieved at the project level.
• Supports the creation of technical manuals for operation and maintenance of related products.
