Job summary

Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) is seeking an Electrical Designer to join the Product Engineering team in Menasha, Wisconsin.

The candidate will create electro-mechanical parts and assemblies for renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center products, using Inventor/CAD tools and collaborating across disciplines. The role requires 3+ years of product design experience, strong CAD skills, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Electrical Design.
• Minimum 3 years product design experience.
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD design software (Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with electrical design and drafting.
• Experience with electrical components or equipment.
• Experience in Bill of Materials creation and Change Notice processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs electro-mechanical designs and calculations under the direct supervision of an Engineer or Team Lead.
• Assists in the preparation of electro-mechanical designs for power and low voltage products.
• Interacts with the Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering staff on a regular basis.
• Presents technical information during design meetings or reviews.
• Creates and updates 2D prints and 3D models for piece parts components.
• Creates and updates 3D layouts of top-level and sub-level assemblies.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and prepare Change Notices to release components and assemblies.
• Supports the creation of technical manuals for operation and maintenance of related products.
• Self-checks own work to ensure accuracy to established drawing and design specifications and standards.
• Provide technical assistance for prototype and pilot builds along with production support as needed.
• Works with suppliers to integrate various components into higher level system designs.
• Supports service, aftermarket, and installation teams as needed.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
