Qualifications

  • Design experience with low-voltage electrical circuits and PLC controllers.
  • Electrical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to designers and less experienced engineers in design activities.
  • Review technical drawings and electrical specifications.
  • Support design of electrical components and subsystems.
  • Perform complex design calculations and verify compliance.
  • Produce documentation such as electrical schematics and assembly drawings.

Job Summary

Senior Electrical Engineer at Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) in Menasha, WI responsible for designing electrical and electro‑mechanical parts for renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data‑center markets. The role supports the Product Engineering team throughout the product development lifecycle and collaborates with cross‑functional stakeholders to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to designers and less experienced engineers in design activities.
  • Review technical drawings and electrical specifications to ensure correct application of components within assemblies.
  • Support design of electrical components and subsystems for power/low‑voltage products, including component selection, wire harness creation, and assembly design.
  • Perform complex design calculations and verify compliance with project requirements.
  • Study and apply relevant government and industry standards governing product design.
  • Produce documentation such as electrical schematics, component prints, assembly drawings, and compliance documents.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Industrial Engineering staff on design reviews.
  • Present technical information during design meetings and reviews.
  • Create 2D prints and 3D models for individual parts and complex sub‑assemblies.
  • Develop Bill of Material structures to support modularity and configurability.
  • Prepare Bills of Materials and Change Notices to release components and assemblies.
  • Support costing activities to achieve pricing targets at the project level.
  • Produce technical manuals for operation and maintenance of products.
  • Self‑check work to ensure accuracy against established drawing and design specifications.
  • Assist prototype and pilot builds and provide production support as needed.
  • Work with suppliers to integrate components into higher‑level system designs.
  • Support service, aftermarket, and installation teams.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

  • Proven ability to lead designers and other engineers (preferred).
  • Travel: 10‑25%.
Location & Work Schedule

Onsite at the Menasha, WI office. Work hours are 7AM to 5PM, Monday–Friday. The role requires a high level of workplace flexibility to support a healthy work‑life balance.
