Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our mill operations in Minnesota. The role may be titled Electrical Reliability Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer, or Process Controls Engineer depending on mill needs.

You will help drive electrical reliability, project execution, and process control improvements across assigned maintenance areas, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across the mill.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction, troubleshooting support, and problem-solving assistance for electrical equipment, systems, and maintenance issues.
• Develop, manage, and improve electrical maintenance strategies, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, equipment tracking, rebuild programs, and documentation.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling, contractor coordination, and field support for outages and projects.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, maintenance, operations, engineering, and other mill resources to support safe, efficient, on-time project execution.
• Analyze processes and data to identify improvement opportunities and support reliable, cost-effective operations.
