Job summary

HART Technologies, Inc. in Dahlgren, VA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and integrate real-time tactical systems for an engineering services contract. The role welcomes all experience levels and emphasizes mission focus and fast-paced teamwork.

Responsibilities include designing electrical components, preparing drawings and BOMs, and supporting testing and integration with Naval/DOD standards. A DoD security clearance or eligibility is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 0-20 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Electrical Box Build and Wire Harness design using AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requirements and analyze best methods of implementation for cost, timeline and functionality.
• Design electrical components and assemblies, including tactical components, test assets, and system interfaces.
• Document electrical designs; create drawings including wire run lists and BOMs to existing government specifications.
• Support troubleshooting and testing activities from component to system level.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts and technicians to deliver prototypes and production units.
• Apply Military Standards in design, as well as cable fabrication and testing techniques.
• Maintain design documentation through project Configuration Management.
