Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. The role focuses on testing and evaluating sub-circuit designs for radio communication products, collaborating with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.

The ideal candidate will read schematics, review PCB layouts, operate bench instruments such as oscilloscopes and power supplies, and contribute to projects lasting 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in electrical engineering, testing and evaluating radio communication products.
• Strong understanding of digital circuits and sub-circuit components.
• Experience operating bench power supplies, oscilloscopes and other test instruments to validate designs.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to diverse technical challenges.
• Python experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate digital subcircuit-level designs to ensure functionality and adherence to specifications.
• Read schematics and conduct PCB layout reviews.
• Operate test instruments such as bench power supplies and oscilloscopes to validate designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze product requirements and translate them into design specifications.
• Provide technical contributions as part of a project team lasting approximately 6 to 12 months.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives.
