Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join a dynamic team in Schaumburg, IL.

You will test and evaluate sub-circuit designs on base radio communication products, collaborating with software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to ensure designs meet specifications. You will read schematics, review PCB layouts, operate bench instruments, and translate requirements into design specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically testing and evaluating radio communication products.
• Strong understanding of digital circuits and sub-circuit components.
• Experience operating bench power supplies, oscilloscopes, and other test instruments to validate designs.
• Digital subcircuit-level design experience required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and adapt to diverse technical challenges.
• Python experience required.
• Proficient at reading and following schematics.
• Proficient at navigating Printed Circuit Board layout.
• Proficient at in-circuit measurements.
• Proficient at using lab bench equipment such as power supply, multimeters, and oscilloscope.
• Strong knowledge of fundamental electrical circuits and digital board design.
• Comfortable with soldering.
• Python & C.

Responsibilities
