Job summary

SLB in Sugar Land, TX seeks an Electrical Engineer to develop PWAs and sub-systems, from schematic design to testing and documentation. You will work closely with software/firmware teams and support field testing, ensuring high-temperature performance and robust signal integrity.

The role requires hands-on hardware development, system-level testing, and alignment with SLB design practices using Cadence tools.

Qualifications

PWA design experience across schematic and layout, with attention to power and signal integrity.
Analog, digital and mixed-signal design expertise required for diverse subsystems.
Designing for high temperature operation up to 175C and robust noise immunity.
Experience with MCUs, FPGAs or DSPs and digital interfaces.
Familiarity with lab testing and standard electrical test methods.

Responsibilities

Independently design PWAs and tool sub-systems including schematic design and part selection.
Lead testing and qualification for designs under responsibility.
Participate in system level testing and integration.
Collaborate with eCAD and other support teams.
Generate and maintain documentation related to designs.
Harness design and sensor testing/selection.
Lead LT/Rs as required and interface with software/firmware teams.
Support field testing, manufacturing, and sustaining as project matures.
Engage with SLB design practices and Cadence tools.
