Job summary

Schlumberger Limited's Digital Technology & Research, Engineering & Design, Manufacturing division in Sugar Land, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop and sustain innovative, cost-effective techniques and solutions. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting of PWAs and electromechanical systems, reviewing schematics, and coordinating tests and documentation.

Candidates should have 3–6 years of industry experience with BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field, familiarity

Qualifications

3–6 years of industry experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
Experience with analog electronics, power electronics, and motor control.
Ability to read circuit schematics and design files, and to verify designs.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on troubleshooting of PWAs and electromechanical systems, identify root cause, propose, and validate solution.
Review circuit schematics, design files, and participate in technical reviews.
Maintain design and manufacturing files and address obsolescence, defects, and issues.
Design test procedures, conduct tests, document results, and present solutions to clients.
Provide training and support to clients and field representatives, and deliver technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and corporate policies.
