Job summary

SLB is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support development and sustaining activities, build prototypes, run lab simulations, and present results to customers. You will analyze requirements, design digital/analog circuitry, and contribute to high-reliability projects in a team environment.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field, with knowledge of component reliability and circuit board design basics.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field.
• Knowledge of failure modes and component reliability.
• Hardware circuit board design basics.
• Understanding of passive/active components and fabrication.
• Experience with high-reliability environments (auto or downhole).
• Knowledge of reliability testing and failure analysis.
• Experience with Cadence PSpice, LabVIEW, Python is a plus.
• Familiar with test equipment: power supplies, ovens, LCR meters, DMMs, oscilloscopes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and organizing requirements and applying usability principles.
• Analyze, design, develop and maintain products and assist in commercialization.
• Build prototypes and run lab simulations; design tests and present results.
• Produce analyses, models and draw conclusions from data.
• Conduct technical reviews and support design reuse.
• Create and maintain product documentation and provide field support.
