Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; 2 years related experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable in industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC machine controls, robotics, blueprint interpretation, precision measurement, welding, and building techniques.

Responsibilities

• Researches and analyzes customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Designs products or systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines; assist with mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems.
• Plans and directs engineering personnel in building test control apparatus and development of methods for testing products or systems.
• Directs and coordinates building and installation activities to ensure conformance to design and customer specifications.
• Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair activities to maximize machine utilization and reliability.
• Designs products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software.
• Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to prevent malfunctions.
