Job summary

MAHLE Engine Comp. (US) MO in Morristown, TN seeks a Maintenance Electronic Technician to repair and maintain machinery and electrical systems across production lines. You will handle motors, controllers, conveyance systems, and control panels, ensuring machinery uptime.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in electronics/industrial maintenance and relevant experience with electrical/electronic systems and automated equipment. MAHLE emphasizes collaboration and ongoing development.

Qualifications

Two year Associate’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology with emphasis on industrial automation, or AA/technical degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology.
plus three years related experience and/or training; MAHLE Electronic Theory Exam required.

Responsibilities

Assemble and test motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, etc.
Diagnose electrical or mechanical malfunctions and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Modify electrical prototypes to correct functional deviations under direction of Electrical Engineer.
Develop wiring diagrams and engineering specifications for system modifications.
Plan periodic electrical testing and recommend equipment replacements.
Troubleshoot and repair controls, automation components, sensors, motors, and PLCs.
