Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer in California. The role covers complete design tasks, technical leadership, and coordination with project teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in industrial electrical/instrumentation projects, NEC familiarity, and strong documentation skills for construction drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• NEC knowledge and application.
• Ability to perform lighting level calculations.
• Size wiring, conduit, and overcurrent protection.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of electrical/instrumentation engineering assignments.
• Provide technical guidance to drafting and engineering personnel.
• Lead small to mid-sized projects and coordinate with discipline leads.
• Produce 15kV/5kV equipment specifications and installation details.
• Perform fieldwork and ensure conformance to codes and specs.
