Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Competency in electrical engineering concepts and theory.
• Strong commitment to personnel and process safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and instrumentation (E&I) engineering technical support for study, definition and detailed design.
• Interpret codes and standards related to functional areas of expertise.
• Maintain technical expertise in assigned functional areas (power distribution, instrumentation, motors).
• Provide forecast cost and schedule estimates for capital and maintenance projects.
• Define scope of work for electrical and instrumentation portions of projects.
• Provide E&I engineering design and specifications to support engineering, procurement and construction activities.
• Identify opportunities for improved electrical and instrumentation engineering design and services (quality, cost, reliability).
• Participate in and lead improvement projects related to the E&I engineering discipline.
• Perform duties with emphasis on safety and teamwork.
