Job summary

Day & Zimmermann’s Maintenance & Construction team seeks an Electrical Engineer to support projects across power generation, renewable energy, industrial, and chemical markets. Under general supervision, you’ll develop design criteria, support procurement, and perform field assignments and factory inspections to help ensure project success.

You may take on supervisory responsibilities, develop scopes, budgets, schedules, and staffing, and lead assigned personnel, coordinating with clients,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree ABET-accredited in Electrical Engineering required.
• Master's degree ABET-accredited preferred.
• State licensure as Professional Engineer required.
• 6+ years of engineering experience.
• PE licensure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance and engineering support for project activities.
• Develops and monitors project scopes; identifies changes and impact.
• Coordinates design efforts with other disciplines and client personnel.
• Monitors design work for code compliance and constructibility.
• When responsible, stamps project documents as a PE.
