Job summary

MMR Group, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer based in Columbus, OH to design and analyze power systems for utility transmission/distribution or industrial projects. You will support construction activities, coordinate with clients and teams, and assist in startups and commissioning.

The role requires knowledge of NESC, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, and NFPA 70E, and a background in utility or industrial power systems. Travel may be required across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent engineering degree.
• 1+ years of experience in utility power systems or industrial power systems.
• Working knowledge of NESC, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, and NFPA 70E.
• Ability to review one-lines, schematics, relay drawings, grounding layouts, and equipment arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in accordance with NESC, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA 70E and applicable standards.
• Support construction activities, RFIs, retrofits, and startup efforts with clients and teams.
• Depending on role assigned, lead field teams or office teams to support construction projects.
• Assist in systems startups, commissioning, and project closeout.
