Job summary

CCECA seeks an Electrical Engineer to plan, design, and maintain the cooperative's electric and communications systems. You will work under the Director of Engineering, applying strong analytical and technical skills to support projects from concept to commission.

You will interact with staff, consultants, and contractors, managing plans, staking, specifications, and field support. This position demands communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Must possess a valid driver's license (Class C).
• Ability to perform moderate physical activity and work in extreme climates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, cost estimates, and staking sheets for the district's projects.
• Design for new construction, line work, load flows, and system specifications.
• Assist in underground subdivision design and layout.
• Maintain engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with RUS, NESC, and other codes and procedures.
